while walking along Ave George V with the dogs, V and GG. He looks just as charismatic in real life as in the movies. Too bad I don't even have the rudimentary French to go up to him and gush.
Also, the dogs drew lots of admiring glances from people. Not surprising, since they were also better dressed than us humans.

The Parisians love dogs. Just out of curiosity, do you pick up your dog poo or do you leave them around like most people for us to step on?

We pick up our dog poo, there is usually a few small plastic bags in my handbag which I keep for such emergencies. A habit we've adopted in Singapore where this is the expected behaviour. I have to admit as well that once or twice I've left it because I don't have any bags handy.
Rufus will always leave at least one dump, Mimi hardly ever she will only poo at home.
